1. Jonathan Gautier, owner of Lakeland’s Sound House Studios, was nominated for the 64th Grammy Awards that took place Sunday. Sound House Studios is located at 113 South Florida Avenue, Lakeland. (Patch Lakeland)

2. Crescent Communities has announced plans for a new high-end multifamily community in Beach Park, a neighborhood within the WestShore District of Tampa. NOVEL Beach Park by Crescent Communities will include 289 units for rent with stunning views of Tampa. (That’s So Tampa)

3. The public is invited to experience the joy of youth in arts, as University Area CDC (Community Development Corporation) presents Prodigy® Showcases throughout the month of April. 4. Renovations on the historic Hacienda Hotel in New Port Richey are expected to wrap up in the next four to six weeks. The 95-year-old building will keep many original features including chandeliers and a courtyard fountain. (Bay News 9)

5. The Florida Highway Patrol arrested Gregory Sorensen Friday night after troopers say he was driving drunk in New Port Richey while in a vehicle adorned with student-driver decals and an open pack of Natural Light beer in the back seat. (Fox 13 Tampa)
