1. Flights in and out of several Florida airports, including Tampa International Airport were delayed Saturday as severe weather battered much of the state’s northern half. Ground stops also were implemented at the affected airports to limit the number of arriving flights. (Tampa Patch)

2. Customers who rely on the pharmacies at Publix Supermarkets for free medications across the Tampa Bay area and country will need to change plans after the pharmacy announced this week that it will no longer offer its free prescription program. Effective June 1st, 2022, the grocery store chain says medication such as amlodipine, lisinopril, and metformin which had been free under the program could now cost up to $7.50 for a supply between 14 and 90 days. 3. Tampa Bay Taco Week is underway now through April 10th, presented by Creative Loafing Tampa Bay. The food week is one of many organized by the outlet with a focus on featuring local restaurants and giving people a chance to eat at places they might not normally enjoy. (Tampa Patch)

4. Clearwater Marine Aquarium (CMA) is joining a statewide effort to stop a spike in manatee deaths by creating a three-phased plan that includes opening more rehabilitation pools and planning for a new manatee hospital. The aquarium is requesting $3 million from the Florida legislature for the effort. (Creative Loafing Tampa)

5. Next week about 230,000 aviation fans will head to Lakeland for the Sun ‘n Fun Aerospace Expo. The event will feature workshops, presentations, air shows, and more. About 4,000 aircraft will fly into Lakeland Linder International Airport, making it the busiest airport in the world for about 6 days. (ABC Action News)
