Man Killed In Tampa Shooting, Police Say

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Tampa police responded to the scene of a shooting late Saturday morning on North 39th Street and East Seward Street.

When police arrived, they said a man was found in front of an apartment building with a gunshot wound. Witnesses told authorities the suspect fired shots towards the victim before they fled.

The victim, whose identity has yet to be released, was transported to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.

Police said an investigation is ongoing.
