WATCH: FHP Trooper Drives Car Into Path Of Drunk Driver Heading Toward Tampa 10K
TAMPA, Fla. — A Florida Highway Patrol state trooper is being hailed as a hero for placing her vehicle in front of a drunk driver to keep them from driving into the path of the Skyway 10K route.
The Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles tweeted dascham video Monday afternoon from the crash, which happened Sunday morning in Tampa.

“FHP Trooper Toni Schuck selflessly placed her vehicle directly in the path of the drunk driver — preventing a tragedy,” FLHSMV tweeted. “Thank you for your service, Trooper Shuck. We wish you a speedy recovery.”
