Imagination becomes reality for many designers during New York Fashion Week and their collections are always shown in breathtaking backdrops. Throughout the week hotels and hospitality spaces are completely transformed into magical runways, presentations and events for the fashion set from around the world. Here are five events we saw during Fashion Week that were particularly beautiful in hotels and New York City venues.

1. The Daily Front Row 20 Year Anniversary at Paradise Club at The Times Square EDITION (also pictured top)

Times Square isn’t typically the epicenter of New York fashion but for one night industry stars like Shanina Shaik, Sara Sampaio, Cynthia Rowley and Jordan Barrett flocked to the EDITION to celebrate the 20th year anniversary of fashion publication The Daily Front Row. The party resembled a dreamscape with floating aerialists, an appearance by Poppy The Troll and a mesmerizing 360 camera to capture some outstanding looks.

2. Alo Sanctuary – Spring Studios

Spring Studios hosted dozens of frenetic fashions shows and presentations but one decidedly more peaceful event that took place there was the Alo Sanctuary. Located on the sixth floor above the fashion frenzy, the activewear brand created a peaceful white space where people could enjoy green juice, massages, and B12 Shots. There was also a more spiritual aspect as energy reader Pardis offered insights and many guests laid down to enjoy a reiki session. Lastly, editors and influencers got to see Alo’s newest collection and nab a few items to take home.

3. Bronx and Banco – Bowery Hotel

For their “One night in Paris” collections Australian label Bronx and Banco went all out and turned legendary hotel and nightlife venue Bowery Hotel into a fashion extravaganza. The bold collection featured sexy silhouettes with lots of cutouts and sequins ideal for an event where you would want to turn heads. The inspiration of the collection was “more is more” and with an array of sexy gowns and sets, it definitely lived up to the theme.

4. Tanner Fletcher – Georgia Room

The Georgia Room at the Freehand Hotel hosted an array of parties and events, one of which was Tanner Fletcher’s debut collection. The collection “Housewarming Party” was named after the first time the designer duo stayed with their families in New York City in the same hotel. The genderless collection was inspired by textiles found in the home which is a repeat source of inspiration for the brand. The event evoked the aesthetic of a housewarming party in the ‘60s and ‘70s with an array or warm colors and interesting textiles.

5. L’Agence – Bowery Hotel

Another beautiful fashion event at The Bowery hotel, however this one was a presentation not a runway show. California-based brand L’Agence showcased their Fall/Winter 2022 which embraced darker colors and modern romance using materials like lurex, velvet and sequins. The collection featured classic cuts with hints of skin, allowing wears to go from day to night with their pieces. A well-tailored L’Agence blazer may cover a cut-out dress which can be revealed after work at dinner or a party.
